Delete in Wicker 1.2.8

  1. Open Hub, open the settings menu, and choose Delete account.
  2. Review the information shown. Complete any outstanding steps listed for your account.
  3. Confirm ownership with your current password or a confirmation code sent to your account email.
  4. Type DELETE and choose Permanently delete account.

Once deletion starts, your account access is revoked. Cleanup may continue in the background and retry if a service is unavailable. Use Check deletion status in the app to follow its progress. Deletion cannot be undone.

What happens to your data?

Cleanup removes your profile, personal posts and comments, private account data, and uploads that can be reliably linked to your account. Some shared records are anonymized so other participants can keep their records.

Active removal and storage recovery expiry are separate. Storage for private order proofs currently has a seven-day recovery window, so recoverable file copies can remain after active cleanup. This does not keep your account open or make deletion reversible through the app.

Older uploads that are no longer linked to an account may need an ownership review before they can be removed safely. Contact support if you want us to investigate a specific file or other data.

Original support emails in the forwarded mailbox require separate review when you request their deletion; deleting an app account does not automatically erase that mailbox copy.

See our privacy policy for more information, or contact us about the data and retention that apply to your account.
