Child safety standards
Wicker prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in every part of the app.
The first Ghana release of Wicker is for adults aged 18 and over. These child-safety standards apply to all accounts, content, messages, calls, and activity on Wicker, regardless of a user’s age.
What is prohibited
Do not create, upload, share, request, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE). This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized content involving a child, grooming, sexual solicitation, sexual extortion, or trafficking and exploitation of children. This prohibition includes computer-generated abuse material.
Report a concern in Wicker
- On another person’s post or comment, open the three-dot menu and choose Report.
- Describe the concern in Report Content and choose Submit Report. Include enough context to identify what happened.
- You can also choose Block from the post or comment menu and confirm Block User. Manage your blocks in Hub → Settings → Blocked Users.
Blocking and reporting are separate actions. If a concern is in a conversation, call, or another area where you cannot find a report control, contact the support operator below with the account name and relevant context.
Child-safety contact
support@usewicker.com is Wicker’s designated child-safety contact, monitored by the support operator. Use the subject “Child safety concern” and include an account name, content link or identifier, and a short description where available.
Do not download, save, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material to make a report. A description and information identifying its location are enough to raise the concern. Do not send passwords or login codes. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
Human review and action
Reports go to the support operator for human review and follow-up. The operator assesses the concern, records the review, and determines the content removal or account restriction required under these standards. Child sexual abuse material is not permitted to remain on Wicker: identified material must be removed and related misuse addressed.
Submitting a report does not automatically remove content or suspend an account. Wicker does not promise continuous staffing or a fixed response time. Relevant child-safety concerns require case-specific handling under applicable law; this page does not claim an automatic reporting connection to law enforcement.
